NIAMA-REISSER uses software from ANSYS to develop and virtually test front and rear suspensions of the NR-1 Supermileage Vehicle

ANSYS products have helped NIAMA-REISSER, LLC, to meet and exceed a wide spectrum of product expectations. Workflow cycles have been significantly reduced since introducing ANSYS Worbench into the workflow. Time is one of the most valuable assets that a given company has in today’s fast-paced economy; more specifically, it is the time span from the product conceptual stage to the effective marketing of the same.

ANSYS Mechanical tools have played a significant role in developing and virtually testing the proprietary front and rear suspensions of the NR-1 Supermileage Vehicle. Based upon ANSYS Mechanical analysis results, the engineering department could move forward in developing the tubular chassis of the NR-1 Supermileage Vehicle.

Upon completing the chassis analysis, computational fluid dynamics analysis using ANSYS FLUENT was conducted on a streamlined body that had been altered to meet design changes dictated by the ANSYS Mechanical analysis.
